The Front Cover shows the two synthesized α-aminocarboxamidato-nickel(II) compounds accompanied by Ni(II)-Bazan′s catalyst lying on a potential energy surface for the oligo-/polymerization of ethylene. The background abstractly represents the synergy between theory and experiment to unveil relevant factors controlling the oligo/polymerization reaction. This work shed light on the equilibrium between steric and electronic demands towards generating active Ni-polymerization catalysts by remote activation of suitable boron Lewis acids.
